The Week of Prayer for North American Missions is March 7-14. Watch the calendar for special prayer meetings that will focus upon our home missions efforts.
Sunday, March 14, is Annie Armstrong Day in Sunday School. Come to Sunday School and church prepared to make your gift. Our church’s goal has been set at $7,855.10. We will give a few minutes in the worship hour to tally and announce the total given. Pray about your family’s and your individual gift to reach our nation and neighbors for Christ.

CHBC FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE INVITES YOU TO ATTEND
MARCH MADNESS VOLLEYBALL
Each Sunday after the evening worship services (for the next 7 Sunday’s) there will be a volleyball tournament in the activity center. There are 8 coed teams (9th grade & up) participating in two 25min. games each Sunday night at 7 pm. A few more players are needed. If you are interested in playing please contact Deeda Carter 729-4570 for information. Join the fun by bringing finger foods and pom-poms to cheer on your fellow church members!

The Discipleship Training class, “15 Basic Concepts,” would like to invite all believers. The class is held on Sunday afternoons at 5pm and will be taught by Cris Salinas.

NEW MEMBERS CLASS
Sunday night, March, 21st, at 6:30 pm, the pastor will lead a New Members Training class. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. This is a one session overview of the Christian experience of salvation, and a quick glance at distinctive Baptist beliefs, and an introduction to College Heights Baptist Church. All new members and those seeking God’s will about joining are urged to attend. The class will meet in Room 104 on the first floor of the education building.

BABY SHOWERS!!
You are invited to a baby shower honoring Lorelai Brann Davis, daughter of Trish & Jeremy Davis on Saturday, March 6th, noon to 1:30 pm at 800 W. 11th. Lorelai was born January 12th and weighed 6lbs. 7oz. and was 18 ¾ long. Eddie & Janis Davis are the proud grandparents.
You are invited to a baby shower for Moneeta Silva. Saturday, March 6th, 10:30 am to noon in the CHBC Parlor.
They are expecting a girl.

Texas Hope 2010
As a part of Texas Hope 2010 we are collecting pocket change for the World Hunger Offering
now through the end of the year. Please continue using the banks to collect loose change
and bring them to the church office when full. There are some banks still available.
Texas Hope 2010 CDs have been placed at various locations and exits for your
convience. Please take one or two and give them to someone you know who c
ould use the good news and help them experience God’s ultimate gift.

Baptist Reunion
All former members of Date Street Baptist Church in Plainview are invited to a reunion on March 13-14, 2010 at the church. There will be a time of food, fun & fellowship. Registration & visitation on Saturday will be at 2pm, worship will be at 4pm, and a meal at 5:30pm. On Sunday there will be Sunday school at 9:30am, worship at 11am and then the noon meal. There is a need for volunteers for various jobs, so if you would be interested in helping please contact Debbie Belk 864-3744. If you will be in attendance please let her know so they can get a head count for the food.
